The French championship is a knockout format tournament to crown the 2026 french shogi champion.
It is reserved to players who :
Are French citizens
Have a FESA rating.
Are in the top 16 or 32 inscribed
Players knocked out in the tournament will join the French Open.
The French Open is open to all players, whatever their level or nationality.
